BigHand Document Creation is designed to help users generate consistent, compliant and professional documents more efficiently than ever before. With BigHand Document Creation, firms have the freedom to create and update document templates in-house, without needing expensive and time-consuming custom development.

The solution, which has been recognized as the number one macro / template solution in the US in the 2017 ILTA Technology Survey, is developed based on customer feedback. BigHand Document Creation version 7.6 incorporates many sought after feature enhancements and exciting new functionality. An integration with BigHand Dictation allows users to generate finished documents from dictations in just a few clicks and “Advanced Autotext” enables users to insert multiple content items at a time to build out lengthy or complex documents more easily. In addition, BigHand Document Creation 7.6 is compatible with iManage’s latest offering, iManage Work 10.

BigHand Document Creation has achieved high acclaim in the US since its inception in 1999 due to its ease of use and the significant time and cost savings achieved by client firms. A recent BigHand Document Creation client survey found that the software reduces the time it takes to create legal documents by an average of 69%, which equates to cost savings of $12,889 per user, per year. Judye Releford, Director of Client Solutions and Services at BigHand comments, “I’ve been working with BigHand’s Create technology for nearly 20 years and the past 12 months have been as exciting as any in its history. We’ve just released version 7.6, the most advanced version of the software yet, and have been voted as the number one macro / template solution in the prestigious ILTA Technology Survey. On top of that, we’ve been able to accurately report on the amount of time that the tool saves end users, and the financial impact that this has on firms.

BigHand Document Creation presents an incredibly powerful business case. As document production processes and back-office efficiency are under the spotlight now more than ever, it’s a very exciting time for all involved.”
