BigHand leading way in professional sector technology, nominated for two Legal Awards


BigHand announced as finalists for Infrastructure Innovation of the Year’ in the UK IT Industry Awards and for ‘Supplier of the Year’ in the British Legal Awards.

The UK IT Industry Awards looks to celebrate IT excellence and is the benchmark for outstanding performance throughout the UK technology industry. The awards focus on the contribution of organizations that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT over the last 12 months. BigHand are finalists in the ‘Infrastructure Innovation of the Year’ category which is awarded for an innovative new product or service that has delivered measurable benefit for customers.

The British Legal Awards are one of the leading awards for the UK’s thriving business law community acting as a showcase for the achievements of the country’s most successful sectors. BigHand are finalists in the ‘Supplier of the Year’ category which is awarded for organizations that have provided a firm within the legal sector a product or service that has a quantifiable benefit to the firm.

BigHand are finalists in both awards as a result of the speech recognition project they completed with Eversheds, one of the largest law firms in the world. The firm wide implementation of speech recognition enabled over 2000 lawyers to use speech recognition - the single biggest roll-out of its kind.
