BigHand celebrates a double win having claimed both the Silver-level award for “Human Capital Management Solution” and Bronze-level award for “Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year” in the 2021 American Business Awards.

With a record number of nominations - more than 3,800 from organizations of all sizes - the 19th Annual American Business Awards® were the most highly anticipated yet. More than 250 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s award winners.

“BigHand has impressive market share, revenue growth, and the NPS scope” said one judge when commenting on BigHand’s entry for “Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year” among organizations with up to 2,500 employees. Another added that BigHand demonstrated “Strong IT infrastructure and technology support. Commendable growth and customer feedback.”

Eric Wangler, Global Managing Director of Workflow at BigHand comments, “Despite a challenging year, forward-thinking law firms have taken important steps in reviewing and optimizing their processes, reducing unnecessary costs, and finding new ways to manage workflow between the front and back-office, regardless of where staff are physically located. As flexible working becomes commonplace, we’re working with a large number of firms that are working through various phases of innovation and change. By providing them with the software tools and data insight needed to make informed decisions, they’ve been able to continue serving attorneys and clients without interruption while increasing efficiency and often reducing expense.”

With the added layer of “Human Capital Management”, or the BigHand Resource Management solution as it is commonly known, firms are also able to identify associate resources, forecast utilization and add structure to career development while improving profitability and ensuring the equitable allocation of legal work in line with equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
