by setting default standards to stamp your documents.
into your organization’s document management systems.
by setting personal ID defaults or organizational-wide defaults.
Integration: BigHand DocID integrates fully with a wide range of document management systems including Autonomy iManage, OpenText DM, Worldox and NetDocuments.
Administration: You get a central administration console from which you can manage all your DocID preferences right across your company.
Defaults: You can set personal ID defaults or firm ID defaults. You can also set document ID standards that will travel with the document and won’t change unless updated manually. It’s your choice.
Legacy Doc ID removal: DocID provides an easy way to remove legacy document ID at the same time as adding a new identifier – while also keeping all other contents in the document footer.
Printing: You can ‘print without DocID’ without affecting the ID string or document formatting.
All the identifiers you need to put in place can be done automatically. For example, documents can be automatically stamped with document, user and firm information. You can set default stamping preferences and set company standards on all documents.
One of the great things about DocID is that it can integrate with the key systems you already have – including Microsoft Office and Document Management Systems. So if you prefer, any identifiers you have on your documents won’t be lost. Equally, you can automatically delete legacy DocID’s and start again.
Users can set personal preferences for the location of an ID in a document. Alternatively, Document ID formatting can be specified and locked down company-wide for different types of documents. You can choose what works for you – and change at any point.
