BigHand today announced the launch and repositioning of the brand to the Asia Pacific market through task delegation and other services.

BigHand today announced the launch and repositioning of BigHand to the Asia Pacific market.

“This will be the first time our clients will see how our new solutions align," says Tony Bleasdale, Managing Director of BigHand APAC. "Enabling firms to use our platform for voice, delegation and producing documents, to improve their firms profitability.”

BigHand may specialise in digital dictation with its platform, but starting at the ALPMA Summit and LawTech 2015 conferences on the Gold Coast this week, the company will broaden its capabilities to include new non-voice methods and easier tracking of administrative tasks.

These new solutions provide a new way of submitting non-voice tasks, managing advanced workflow and allow firms better visibility.

“For 20 years we have enabled firms of all sizes to Make Big Happen with BigHand," Bleasdale says. "We are looking forward to sharing these new solutions with market leaders from Asia Pacific law firms at ALPMA on the Gold Coast.”

To go along with the announcement last week of the release BigHand 5.0, the latest version of the company’s flagship platform, the APAC team will be showcasing BigHand Workflow Management and BigHand Capacity Manager.

Bleasdale says: "These new solutions are a reflection of the feedback we have received from our clients. They've told us they want to use our workflow for greater efficiency in the back office and this goes beyond digital dictation.

"BigHand Workflow Management is part of a conversation we have with our clients that allows users to create and convert paper tasks into digital forms, track progress from any mobile device and submit requests on more than just Voice. All these products will help law firm leaders be more efficient, and their firms to be more cost competitive and responsive to clients, areas that virtually every firm is challenged by in today’s competitive market.”

BigHand Workflow Management provides a new method of submitting non-voice tasks into the existing BigHand. Now, any administrative task can be entered into the workflow management system, allowing users to delegate tasks as diverse as document corrections, travel bookings, document amendments, new employee procedures and requests for support. For the first time our clients will be able to use BigHand to centralise all the requests they receive for members of the support teams to access.

BigHand Capacity Manager, meanwhile, allows firms better tracking of the tasks in the BigHand 5.0 system. This new tool can forecast the workload for administration teams, which the will allow them to foresee capacity problems before they actually happen.

BigHand 5.0, which is also receiving an improved user interface with more responsiveness, will be on display at the conferences along with BigHand Workflow Management and BigHand Capacity Manager.
