Ian joined BigHand in late 2015.Since 2000 Ian has worked exclusively in the software sector, initially with Northgate Information Solutions PLC and latterly with the Capita Group PLC, as Managing Director of a number of software businesses with revenues in excess of £150 million. He has always focused on the provision of high quality customer service together with the development of market leading solutions.Ian has a degree in Accountancy, Finance and Economics from the University of Essex.
Sam joined BigHand as CFO in November 2014. Sam, a Chartered Accountant, has significant experience in the professional services sector, including advising law firms and property consultants.Prior to joining BigHand, he was working in corporate finance at PwC. Other roles have included Corporate Development Director for PwC UK and interim Finance Director at Croner Consulting, part of Wolters Kluwer.Sam brings a wealth of commercial and transaction knowledge to the management team, and has a degree in Economics from Bristol University.
Andy Fielder was appointed as CTO in January 2013. Andy has over 28 years of experience leading development teams on numerous technical platforms. Andy is an agile coach, mentoring teams to adopt the mind sets and practices that enable them to continuously deliver market leading products.Prior to BigHand, Andy was Head of Software Development at NetNames, managing teams in Copenhagen, Cambridge and London. Before this Andy managed the Web and iSeries teams at Edexcel a Pearson company.At BigHand Andy is responsible for strategy, software development, product management, services and infrastructure enabling the delivery of world class technology.Andy is a Certified Scrum Master and Certified CISO.
James joined BigHand in 2001 and is currently Managing Director – Product Strategy & Innovation.James’ enthusiasm for understanding the challenges that BigHand customers face ensures the product portfolio, future roadmaps and service delivery all focus on things that will make a material difference and deliver a return on investment for customers.Prior to joining BigHand, James worked as Business Development Manager for the Centre for Strategic Business Studies. Previously at BigHand he was Managing Director UK Healthcare and UK Sales Director.James has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.
Eric was appointed President of BigHand’s North American business in 2013.Prior to joining BigHand, Eric worked for global technology company, Ricoh, as Vice President of their legal vertical. During his time at Ricoh, he was instrumental in evolving their service delivery model and was focused to helping law firm and corporate legal clients maximize efficiency in service delivery.In his current role, Eric is responsible for the North American business and led the acquisition of Esquire Innovations, a leading provider of Microsoft Office integrated practice management software, extending the product offering to BigHand’s clients globally.Eric has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Dan joined Brazil in 2001 and has progressed in various positions within the company including Managing Director of Asia-Pacific, Managing Director of North America and Managing Director of Cloud Services and EMEA. Most recently, he became Managing Director, for the UK. Since joining Brazil, Dan has helped drive the enterprise software client base from a start-up of 20 sites to 3,000+ organizations worldwide. In April 2013, Dan also led the launch of the Brazil Cloud Services product line, where he grew SaaS users from zero to 15,000 subscriptions in 3 years. Dan now runs the UK Healthcare plus UK & EMEA legal teams covering some 1,800 customers.
Anthony joined BigHand as Managing Director Asia-Pacific in 2014.With over 20 years’ experience in legal and financial sectors, Anthony has gained a keen interest in information technology to provide efficiencies and growth opportunities within professional services. His approach is to balance continual improvement with the ongoing and often changing needs of internal and external partners.Prior to joining BigHand, Anthony roles have included CEO of a law firm and Former President NFP organization ALPMA.Currently, he is responsible for managing the growth the development of the Asia Pacific region, managing direct sales in Australia and New Zealand whilst building a network of resellers in Asia.
Briana joined BigHand in 2013 as Marketing Manager for our UK business. Having progressed through many marketing roles at BigHand, she became the Group Marketing Director in April 2017.Since joining BigHand, Briana has transformed the marketing function which now plays a critical role in driving the bottom-line growth of the business. She was responsible for the global rebrand, integrating two acquisitions, numerous product launches and has increased lead generation by over 150%. Briana has a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies specializing in Marketing from the University of Limerick and a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the European Institute of Communications.
Kim joined BigHand in 2009 as Executive Assistant to the CEO. Kim’s responsibilities quickly expanded to include establishing an in-house HR function. In 2013 Kim was appointed as Head of HR. Kim’s focus is on developing a sustainable culture of growth, innovation, talent and engagement. She was the driving force behind BigHand being named by Great Places to Work® as one of the UK’s Top 100 Best Workplaces™. Kim believes that happy BigHanders equate to happy clients and is committed to creating the kind of culture which attracts and retains the very best talent.Kim has degree in Law from Southampton University, a Legal Practice Course, and a CIPD qualification.
