BigHand, a leading technology business, has been named by Great Place to Work® as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ in the Medium category (organisations with 50-499 employees) in their annual Best Workplaces™ ranking.
The ranking criteria, which is one of the most thorough available, uniquely comprises of both an in-depth Employee Trust Survey and an audit into the organisation’s management and HR practices. The award recognises the strength of a businesses’ leadership and the range of innovative, creative and effective HR policies that are in place which in turn creates a successful workplace culture.
This is the first time BigHand has achieved this honour which distinguishes the company as having a highly engaged workplace culture. A key practice at BigHand is the involvement and interaction employees have with clients. Staff are invited to the Annual BigHand User Conference* and many other events throughout the year where they have an opportunity to see how BigHand clients are using the technology in their everyday lives, to hear success stories from client guest speakers and see the impact their efforts make. It also provides a great chance for all staff to network with clients during the day and also in a more informal setting into the evening.
