Training courses include:
USER
Separate training for fee earners/authors or secretaries that covers the transition from analogue to digital dictation, full instruction in the functionality of BigHand Digital Dictation, expectation setting, removing concerns, FAQs.
ADMINISTRATION
The aim of this course is to ensure that Department Administrators know exactly how to perform their Administration, Supervision and Reassignment responsibilities.
SYSTEM SUPPORT
This support training course is to make sure that staff are able to handle support issues relating to BigHand both in terms of Department Administration and software and hardware issues, acting as a first step towards self-sufficiency. The course will cover aspects of both desktop and network support.
TRAIN THE TRAINER
The in-house technical or training team are instructed on how to train the BigHand system themselves. Following the course in-house staff become BigHand qualified for both training and basic trouble-shooting.
SPEECH RECOGNITION - STAGE 1
Training is provided on a one-to-one, on-site basis and focuses on immediate productivity. All training takes place at your computer in your office and, whenever possible, performing actual work from your in-tray. This course is designed for individuals who already have a medium level of PC experience.
SPEECH RECOGNITION - STAGE 2
Having built a personalised voice file, it becomes important to ensure a smooth integration with existing templates, precedents, and take the individual to an independent level if secretarial resources are not present or unavailable. This course is designed for individuals who have also developed an excellent voice file and a good understanding of the speech recognition programme.
