BigHand for Windows Mobile has an easy to use interface which enjoys the benefits of touch screen support. The application is also ‘orientation-aware’ which means that you can use it whether you prefer the horizontal (landscape) or vertical (portrait) screen orientation. BigHand for Windows Mobile also supports multiple screen resolutions so that the controls adapt to the screen size/shape of your devices.

BigHand Mobile is based on the email functionality of the Windows Mobile operating system. BigHand’s popular and well-established Email Gateway component provides the link from Microsoft Exchange to the BigHand system. BigHand’s Security Façade helps authenticate the BigHand Mobile users and retrieves information from the BigHand database to send back to BigHand Mobile. BigHand Mobile synchronizes with the server to retrieve status updates about the submission of your voice file.

BigHand Mobile can be installed manually or deployed with group policy via ActiveSync. The device software is provided as a .cab file or, if preferred, an .msi file to simplify deployment and configuration.
