Digital Dictation helps Bott & Co talk the talk
Fee earners and PAs at Cheshire-based personal injury specialist, Bott & Co, saw a massive 15% leap in their work output in just three months, thanks to Digital Dictation technology.
Always eager to increase efficiency through applying the latest in IT systems, the firm adopted BigHand’s Digital Dictation software in May 2004. The system works through fee earners dictating letters and other documents to the network via a microphone. This information is then sent as a high quality sound file to the central server and itemised, ready for downloading and transcribing by the relevant Bott secretary.
The installation process was seamless and painless, with external trainers on hand to get the system up and running and to educate Bott staff in getting the best out of the software. As for results, huge benefits for both individual staff and the firm at large were quickly apparent.
Practice manager, Paul Hinchliffe commented:
