BigHand selects Alphawest as Second Exclusive Australian Supplier
SYDNEY, Australia, 1 June 2006 - IT services business Alphawest & BigHand, the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 company, today announced Alphawest has been selected as one of only two exclusive suppliers of BigHand Digital Dictation software in Australia. BigHand develops voice productivity solutions for legal firms and Alphawest will design, implement, project manage and support BigHand solutions in the Australian marketplace.
Over 400 legal and consulting professionals worldwide use BigHand software to dictate directly to their firm’s network infrastructure, using a handheld microphone, headset, mobile device or telephone. Digital dictation eliminates analogue tapes and ensures the fast, cost effective distribution of information. “The BigHand relationship is a natural fit with Alphawest given its focus and commitment to the Legal and Professional Services market.
